Chloe Lopez-Lee, PhD

Postdoctoral Scholar

Chloe grew up in NYC and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Mount Holyoke College. She then completed her PhD in Neuroscience at Weill Cornell Medicine in Dr. Li Gan’s lab, studying sex-biased molecular mechanisms of aging and Alzheimer’s disease. During her graduate career, Chloe was awarded the HHMI Gilliam Fellowship and an F31 from the NIA. Chloe’s research has been published in Science, Neuron, and Biological Psychiatry. During her postdoc in the Elahi Lab, Chloe will focus on elucidating how biological sex impacts vascular pathologies and vascular contributions to tauopathy.
