Claudia Kunney

Associate Researcher | Clinical Research Coordinator

Claudia graduated from Wesleyan University in 2024 with a BA in Chemistry and Art Studio. At Wesleyan, she worked as a Research Assistant in the Cohan Laboratory, identifying plastic-degrading bacteria in search of a solution to rising environmental microplastic contamination. In 2024, Claudia joined the Elahi Lab, where she contributes to building in vitro vascular models of CADASIL (“organoids”) and conducts research visits with participants of VascBrain. Originally from San Francisco, Claudia is always looking for Manhattan’s hidden gems. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, making art with friends, and improvisational pasta recipes.
